1. What information we collect

We only collect information that we genuinely need in order to respond to your enquiry and provide our services.

Information you give us

When you complete an enquiry form on this website, we collect:

You may also give us further information voluntarily during a phone call, email exchange, or in the course of us providing services to you.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, we use analytics tools that collect limited technical information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), device and browser type, referring website, and how you interacted with the page. This is collected through Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, and is used in aggregate to understand how our advertising and website are performing.

We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from analytics data.

2. Why we collect it and how we use it

We use your personal information to:

We will not use your information for an unrelated purpose without your consent, unless required or permitted by law.

3. Marketing communications

If you submit an enquiry, we may contact you about that enquiry and about our services. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe option, and you can ask us at any time to stop contacting you by emailing info@stellaacquisitions.com. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Who we share information with

We only disclose your personal information where it is necessary, and to organisations that help us operate our business. These include:

Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights.

5. Cookies and tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies through Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads to measure website performance and the effectiveness of our advertising. These may record that you visited our site and whether you submitted an enquiry.

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser opt-out add-on. Blocking cookies will not prevent you from using this website or submitting an enquiry.

6. If you become a client

Where you engage us to manage your advertising, you may give us access to accounts and platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, your Google Business Profile and your website. We access these solely to deliver the services you have engaged us for.

Your accounts and data remain yours. Your Google Ads account is held in your name, and your campaign data and leads belong to you. If our engagement ends, you keep them, and we will remove our access on request.

7. How we store and protect your information

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. These steps include using reputable service providers, restricting access to information, using secure (HTTPS) transmission on this website, and protecting accounts with strong authentication.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only as long as we reasonably need it — to respond to you, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get back in touch. Client records are kept for as long as we provide services and afterwards where required by law (for example, tax and financial records generally must be kept for seven years). When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

9. Accessing or correcting your information

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. You may also ask us to delete it, where we are not required to keep it by law.

Email info@stellaacquisitions.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. There is no fee for making a request.

10. Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first so we can put it right. Email info@stellaacquisitions.com with the details, or call 0488 992 250. We will acknowledge your complaint promptly and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.

11. Third-party websites

Our website and communications may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
